Default omg... another problem (multiple warning lights)

ABS - Traction Control - Stability Control

All 3 are coming on. It happens a few times after just starting the car (haven't even shifted out of park).

98% of the time it happens as soon as the vehicle starts to move.

On a rare occasion they don't come on at all. This all started a few days ago.

The squirrley' thing is.... before this all started... I noticed the following:

As soon as I would shift from park to reverse, foot still on the brake pedal, I hear and feel this .... this 'boing'.... I feel it in the brake pedal and can hear it.

It sounds like it is coming from the master cylinder (firewall area)..... It really sounds like a spring is being released.... it's weird...

I have good brake pressure. I pulled all the tires and checked my rotors and pads... nothing out of the norm'....

Other than the same stuff everyone else complains about.... warped rotors. Nothing bad, but I can feel it in the pedal...

Anyone? Help is appreciated.... before I take it in to a garage...

Bing bing bing it goes.....and they fall right in line with eachother...one after another....

i know what your talking about....it displays in the DTC....It hasnt been uncommon for me to get ready to start the car or while driving that my anti lock light would come on...or right after start up the TC and ABS and service stability system light comes on...its like all of them...nothing apparently wrong so i would just shut the car off and let it sit and start it again and it wouldnt come back....

But, your problem sounds like same thing I had when we pulled the maf and forgot to plug it back in....so check that....your saying you feel in break pedal...not sure...could be master cylinder issue...but check that maf connection....cause it will go in fail mode and still run in it....but youll get all kinds of DTC's

we come to the conclusion that these cars arent SUPPOSED TO HAVE ISSUES BUT, they have more electronics in them then the first moon mission LMAO...so could be anything...if no apparent problems...i would take her to the raper...i mean the reaper...i mean the dealer!! lol...or your local shop for a look see!

I had issues with traction control warning lights too. Car didn't seem to run too good. Scanned it with my Superchips Cortex and it said misfire in cyl #1. I pulled the plug and the insulator was broken and plug grossly fouled. I replaced the plug and it fixed the problem. Don't know why a fouled plug set off traction control warning lights, but it did.
ALSO had the same warning lights years ago in my old 2001 Monte SS, the clip that held the sensor wire to one of the wheels broke and wire was hanging loosely, I wire tied it back tight and fixed that.

Used to be an early warning that the factory battery was going to fail soon - modules won't "wake-up" at start-up.

If it's just TC, then it could be the Engine/ECM, but if you get ABS, ESC and TCS then there is an issue with the EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module), which is the device that those lights indicate is having trouble, or the BCM, which actually tells those lights to turn on when it determines the EBCM is having an issue.

Now, that "boing" you here is probably the valves cycling inside the EBCM. It's part of a self test. They do that every time you start the car, and it always happens as soon as the car starts moving. Every car with ABS does that, but it's more noticeable in some cars. It's really noticeable in my wife's '98 Century.

It could be the battery, it could be the wheel speed sensors (in the hubs), it could be failing the self check... it could be a lot things. If you can pull the code, you'll be a lot closer to figuring out what the issue is.
