Scorpion Roller Rockers
Are they any good? Just found some for $345. Worth it? Should I go with 1.7 or 1.8? As long as they are good for the ls6 we can use them on the ls4 right? Thanks

Yes, those are good rockers. I was going to go with either those or Yella Terra's but I ended up with some SLP's instead since I go thtem for 200.00. I'd go with the 1.8's. We have stock 1.7's to begin with. Think about oil restricted pushrods too. You can get those in the LS section at www.intense-racing.com

1.8s would be a good choice with springs and pushrods and a stock internal engine.
1.7s would be ideal if you plan to cam the car in the future, as a higher ratio than stock increases duration and lift by holding the valves open longer. An aftermarket cam already bumps up lift and duration from the factory specs.

Do you have to do springs or is that just extra insurance? I know on the gtp you didn't have to do springs for 1.9s. Where's the best deal to get rocked at? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks jeff

If I were keeping the stock 1.7 ratio then I wouldn't need to do springs but I'm going to the 1.8 and it's gonna be tuned so the shift points will b higher and the stock ls1 spring r only good to about 6200 IIRC.
