Default Compass not working

Just saying. It just says "CAL". If I can ever get off work I'll run it by the dealer.

there is a proceedure in your owners manual that tells how to calibrate it, you have to drive in a circle a couple times and some other stuff. IIRC

yeah ^ ^ ^

press the button on the DIC until it says calibrate compass.. then press the checkmark button, and it will tell you to drive in circles...

so, drive in circles until it says "calibration complete" and you're all set...

Sounds really stupid but they are right, you shouldn't have trouble after calibration but I would try to do it somewhere where people didn't think I was nut driving in circles. It usually takes several circles to complete.

Did you have the battery disconnected? That's the only time I ever see that message.

Funny thing is, mine recalibrates itself because I live on mountain road with 4 miles of winding curves!
