Default Separated rear pads

So I changed the rear brakes on my car today (They had about 3mm of pad left.) and found that when I took the pads out of the caliper bracket the friction material stayed in the bracket 3 of the 4 rear pads had the friction material come right off and the 4th was curling up at the edges. I think these are the GM ceramic pads, but I'm not positive as they were on the car when i bought it. i have NEVER had this happened before, and an very thankful it wasn't the fronts.

That's crazy. GM should have put some better brakes on these especially the Chevys. I know when I slow down from doing 100mph + my steering wheel shakes bad. They get way too hot.
