At the risk of getting banned from the site {sigh} I think everyone with negative comments is just hating, which I understand because I am a natural born hater...people should be happy that people are taking old Chevys and taking interest and doing something creative regardless of what it is. If people weren't buying these older cars and lifting them up on 30's, then alot of cars would be getting scrapped. Think about it...this video is on Youtube and I'm sure some people are looking at it liking it. For that one car think about how many "old school" Chevys are being sold instead of being crushed because someone has a vision or plan. IMHO I like that better than any "ricer" stuff I see on domestics. The whole donk thing is just the flavor of the month and nobody has to embrace it, but why hate on it? These donks are making it possible for someone to buy one of these cars at a killer price 10 years from now. And for the people with an old school Monte, Cutlass or whatever, it gives you the opportunity to make some decent money.
That Monte owner might be more pleased in seeing it raised up on 30's than in FWD form. Yet plenty of us, me included, have FWD Imps and Monte's which the purists consider blasphemy.

quinn i am with you on that one brother. we may not like it but at least someone is taking interest in a chevy, on top of that a monte carlo. as far as the purist thing goes you are right about that as well. old school muscle car guys turn their noses up at me when i tell them my impala is FWD. i mean i see where they are coming from but i tend to like it. we all have our own personal preferences
sorry to bring back a really old thread lol, but Jabronie, I really love that Monte. It has a good flow to it, but I hate the doors. Those were the rims I was gonna get but all chrome. I still might get rims, but they gonna be 18's.
