Remote Keyless FTL
Remote Keyless FTL I became complacent over the last few months, pretty much all throughout winter, and hadn't used my key in the ONLY entry lock cylinder on the car to keep it freed up. The flap was almost totally seized to the cylinder, but I was finally able to get the key in. Unfortunately, it won't turn.
What should I try to open it up? Couple squirts of WD40 or PB Blaster? I know graphite lock lube is preferred to KEEP it moving, but since it's seized now, should I try something else? I don't want to spray the graphite in there and then have to resort to WD40 or PB and cause it to get gummy in there.

When I was a locksmith I always used WD40 to free them up. It breaks down the gunk and there is plenty of drainage for the solid particles to drop clear of the lock completely. Graphite is a good lubricant as long as nothing ever needs to be broken free, but I hated it in our area because of blowing dust etc it was always just a problem because it won't keep things like dust from collecting and freezing up the cylinder, then it makes nasty black mud when you need to use a liquid penetrant on the lock.
The factory had grease in there that collects dust and particles over time causing the situation you are in. WD40 breaks it all down pretty well and if you flush enough through there it should leave you with a clean slate. Don't use anything like lithium grease that will remain behind to collect dirt and debris and you will be better off in the future.
