Stupid question about tranny
Stupid question about tranny When I need to get a new transmission put in, what should I go with? Sorry for the stupid question but I honestly would have no idea. Also, would it be cheaper for the shop to order it, or for me to order it?

From what I hear, TripleEdgePerformance.com is the place to go for a performance tranny, and if you can do it ahead of time, the price is right. I think it's $1700 for a built tranny, without anything extra...but you can add other performance parts (for $$, of course). Shipping could be a deal breaker, though...and you have to pay a core charge (and shipping for the core).
