Stay with the stock struts and go with some ssc springs. You can't go wrong with the stock bilstein struts.

According to a user on ClubGP (I think the same user posts here, maybe Mgpeagle?), Bilstein said the "B6 Comformt" is similar to stock and that the "B6 Heavy Duty" should be used when lowering.

As for springs, SSC/Canuck Motorsports are the best.

Stock Bilsteins are good up to a 2.5" drop.

Hey thanks for the link. I had it open in another tab but forgot the post it, heh.

As far as price goes, yes, you have to pay to play. If he has a GXP, he should be fine. If not, the KYBs are his best bet.

Great info guys, thanks.

I took a look at Canuck Motorsports page. Didnt see a listing for the
GXP. I will email them and see if they have them for the V8.

Bilstein > Wheres a good place to get these? I didnt even see a listing on there site either.

As im in canada, any local canadian dealer would be great.

Cheers
