Wanted: test car with Doug Thorley Headers Good day everyone, for those who do not know me my name is Curt Hogan and I own Hogan Performance. We develop and sell performance exhaust products for W body GM cars. We are looking for a test car that is currently equipped with a set of Thorley headers from which we can pattern and new performance down pipe. This car will be needed in our facility for 1 day or less and in return we will pay travel expenses and provide the owner of the vehicle with a down pipe of their choice. So what you gonna make a bolt in dp for after the headers so you dont have to weld anything up?? That would be pretty badass if thats the case. Catted and catless? Sweet like to see things being introduced. Jeff

Curt, I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you right away like I said I would. Here are some pictures of the pipe that you made for me:
The cat had to be trimmed all the way around to clear the heat shielding, and my tape measurer measurements were off. It needed about 1" more than the 22.5" I asked for. I'd recommend leaving about 2" and letting the install shop do the final cut.
I don't think there is anyway to get this in without welding, simply because the DTH piece is curved right up to the outlet.
