Looking for help, I may be retarded.
...I have people to help me out with the actual fabricating and hands on work but I am looking for a little more straight forward (do this, then this, etc.) info on what I should do to my car and in what order to get the best consistant results. Currently I have a CAI, and exhaust and have gotten a basic tune for the GXP...I have heard about top swaps for LS6 or LS1 or LS7...but dunno
THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME OUT.

Search tech for the nearest, reputable LSX tuner in your area. Stay away from canned mail tunes if you want to really benefit from it and ensure a quality tune.

I'm getting ready to get my headers put on in the next week or two. Like Alabama guy said though, Thorley is either about out, or they were telling me that to get me to buy a set on the spot. And like you mentioned, there will be no need for a down pipe, the header runs almost all the way to the cat.
So, you have a cai, cat back, and a tune... The headers will be a good addition.
next if you go towards your intake you have a few options, you can look up zzp performance and get a direct replacement ported ls4 intake, or you can get the ls6 intake. Keep in mind though the ls6 intake will take some fab work, it's not a direct bolt on replacement.
Some other things you could do are 1.8 roller rockers, milled throttle body, or a truck one but i'm not sure which one...
Just follow this forum and you'll see a lot of stuff come out, more than what most people think.
And if you have any questions just ask them then. This forum is good about not flaming people for questions.
