Default front turn signal bulbs

I blew both after changing the battery. Coincidence? Manual says to pull headlight out is there a easier way or is this the only way.

Not really, the headlights dont actually come out to bad. You have a bolt that goes into the radiator support, this bolt holds the plastic head light retainer in place. Take the bolt out, remove the plastic retainer, and I am pretty sure you are good to go.

Passenger side started working on it's own and the driver side still is not. The light works just won't flash when turning. Harness looks good anyone got any thoughts.

The one in the headlight? That one doesn't flash, just stays amber.

Yeah now I'm confused....there are no blinking turn signals in the headlights of the GXP.

EDIT: Nevermind. I had to read the thread again lol. He means he had to take the headlight out in order to get to the turn signal.

yeah i am talking about the one in the bumper. Looks like somebody switched it out for some reason but i checked everything and rewired it back up and still nothing. I checked all the fuses but is there a relay for just the turn signal on that side? I have the proper bulb/socket/wiring harness coming from GM but it won't be here till friday and there is no gurantee it will fix it. If anyone has any thoughts please chime in.

and yes I put a new bulb in.
