For those of you considering a transmission cooler for your w-body, this is one of those jobs that is best to just pay to have done. It is not impossible, but requires considerable disassembly and small hands to do easily. I took pictures and stuff but I am too pissed to bother posting them now. Just thought I would throw my advice out there to spare someone my anguish.

I hear that! I put two in my car and it was a total of 6 - 8 hours of work with major modification the the inside of front air-dam. Looks stock though and keeps my temps on a 105* hot & humid day at 168*. Was worth it and probably saved hundreds.

I will put up pics this afternoon.
Mgpeagle is right though, getting the cooler in place was tough, but running the lines and hooking them up was even harder. One, you either drill to make room for the lines, which is fine. Or, you buy enough line to run a crazy length around the radiator back to the tranny cooling lines. AND THEN, the factory cooling lines have almost no slack in them. So when you cut, be sure you can get at them. My problem was that my hands are huge, so slicing the lines and tightening down the clamps went painfully slow. I did get it done though, and it does work as advertised.

This is off another members car but it's a great write up. Click on each pic and it will give you instructions on what to do.
