I know the downpipe won't work. I have read that on other threads.
Originally, I wanted the exhaust shop to make me exhaust from the headers to the mufflers with no resonator and no cat, but the guy basically said no what he would normally do is just bolt up my y-pipe back to the headers.
Is reattaching the y-pipe feasible? If it will work, I'm fine with doing that.

I have Doug Thorley Headers and I went this route after selling my Hogan catless DP. I welded a 3" ZZP SS flex to the header collector itself then I mated it with a fake cat and welded that to the rest of the cat-back. Worked out great. Here are the links.

...Thx again Mike....Still waiting to be put on though. But basically I'm waiting for a tuner. So to the OP, YES, soon after the catless, get a tune.
