Mated to a A6. Rare option, but yes. I tried to find one before looking at LS4 cars.

i've seen a northstar v8 in a cavalier so i'd its possible for a ls4 in a g6, the transmission will be the factor when it comes to making it fit.

Yea I thought about going turbo but I still need to do some more homework on the g6, I might pick it up next Friday its 2008 g6 GT black with 68k 9,000 it has a flowmaster muffler, dual exhaust

That would be the motor I would get in the G6.

I do not believe the 3.6 in the G6 was DI.

I also think that purchasing this car to attempt to modify, especially to the extent that you are dreaming of, is a horrible idea. You'd be better off choosing a different car. My wife has an 08 GT coupe with the 3.5, and I just can not see it as a performance platform whatsoever. Sporty, yes. Anything more, you'd be better off looking for a GTO or another Firebird.

That's what I thought. It's still a great engine, especially mated to the 6A. My wife and I drove an 07 GTP 6 months or so before we purchased our 08 GT. We were very pleased with it, but we simply weren't ready to make the purchase at that time. Fast forward to when we actually purchased... We wanted a 3.6 car, but we found the GXP to be, to put it nicely, unattractive, so we "settled" for the 3.5 GT.

Personally, If I were looking for a "performance" G6, I'd be looking for a 3.9/6M combo.

But isn't this the LS4 section?
