Trans Trouble

Trans Trouble I think it is my turn....
The car has 48,680 miles on her, the fluid is an interesting burnt orange/brown color.
The 1-2 shift has been getting more and more sloppy since the beginning of summer, and now when I take it out of reverse and into drive the car hesitates pretty bad and the traction control light flashes.
Appointment for Monday at the Dealer...
Anyone else have these symptoms when their trans went?
Update: I got a 2011 Impala rental...driving around in a 3500 V6 for a day sure does make me miss my Monte.
These LS4 cars are soooo much better than a normal W-Body!!!
