Sorry to hijack your thread. I love me some detailing too. Maybe we should co-write a LS4 section detailing sticky?

It's important to have a lot of patients when you detail, it's all in the prep work and ironically, your attention to detail!

Oh wait...

Thanks both of you.

But I was gearing towards dealing with existing swirls. My whole car is covered in them, like real bad. Plus some idiot used a polisher on my vehicle and didn't remove the swirls put on by the polisher.

for exisiting swirls you will need some type of buffer whether it be a porter cable or flex 3401.....doing it by hand would take a long time and you wont see as good of results.....with that you will need some good product.....i have had really good results with Adam's Fine Machine Polish and Adam's Swirl and Haze Remover....i have also seen others get good results with Meguiars 105 and 205 and a few others....most OTC doesnt work very well so you may have to pay a little more but in the end the results will be well worth it...any more questions feel free to pick my or Nacho's brain lol

whats with the brand loyalty? theres a plethora of quality detailing supplies out there. If you want to be serious about detailing, read up on processes and products and then make purchases. My opinion.

Some companies (Zaino) recommend that only a regimen of their products be used in a system to keep a clean car.
