fuel filter took my gxp to the oil change place i asked about fuel filter and they said its not serviceable.......! wtf does that mean?. how to we change the fuel filter on these cars?
I just found that out when someone else on this board had a problem with their LS4 falling on it's face at high RPM.
Apparently, it's in the tank and doesn't need service. I wonder how they made THAT work?

it's basically, a little "sock" to filter the fuel...
and yeah, it's inside the gas tank... "non-servicable" to the average owner...

The filter is not serviceable. There is no changing it unless you buy a whole new pump. There should be 2 filters one on the pump it self and one on the fuel pump assembly.The pump is held in a big round plastic case. Hope this helps
