The Grand Prix's keyless entry receiver is located under the "carpet" near the rear window.

I can see how you can mistake that dip/hole in the diagram as the spare tire well.

I put "carpet" in quotation marks because that top deck isn't technically the carpet but it's got that feel.

The other receiver is for XM (I'm sure you know this).

 

I knew that, XM and OnStar. It's coming out soon.

 

OnStar is under the passenger seat I believe.
