New guy here with a Buick....hello!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
I didn't realize that this car would create so much hoopla. It's just a Buick.
I'll post up some more pics once I get the hang of it.
Regarding production totals, I snagged some numbers from a really cool site called compnine.com. The results are as follows:
2008 LaCrosse Super = 2277 (133 converted to Allure Super for Canada)
2009 LaCrosse Super = 139 (16 converted to Allure Super for Canada)
2009 was an abbreviated run for ALL LaCrosse models as they were only built from September till December of 2008.

This made me LOL, so true! Welcome aboard OP, it's nice to see a Super emerge from the shadows. Awesome color choice, and it's definitely a nice sleeper since most people will have no idea what is under the hood.
Nice car! I am always looking for us fellow ls4er's on the roads and I see several Impy's, a couple Monte's, fewer GXP's, and hardly no La Crosses on the road.... and what I mean by hardly is never! Welcome! You will find a lot of useful information on this site, as I have and most people here are going to try their best to reach out and help you. Thinking of any mods for that bad boy?
Thanks again for the warm welcome. The other car in my sig is my neighbor's '08 Super in Dark Mocha Metallic. He lives about 2 streets over from me in the same sub-division. I drove past his house one day and see the car outside and almost peed myself. I never see another LaX on the road and here is one I can throw a rock at.
The car is still stock and will most likely stay that was as it's my 'fair weather' daily driver. I added a few items to the car like WeatherTech Vent Visors and magnetic drain plug from a 6.0 truck engine. I recently installed a Mobil 1 5w30 oil cap and matching metal data plate. Oh, and a resonator removal which makes it sound a little meaner, but not by much.
