Default Another tire thread again!!!

Hey guys! I am in the market for new tires and was wondering everyone's opinion on tires. Here's the situation, I have two sets of wheels/tires to play with. I am looking for a good winter set for my set of 18's. Here in Missouri, we have the occasional big winter storm and a few decent snows a year. I am looking for a tire that will give good traction in the snow and have a good tread life and will not give a lot of road noise. Also, I am not looking to break my wallet since these tires will only be used for 3 to 4 months out of the year. Any suggestions?

I think I am going to go with the Pirelli P-Zero Nero. According to tire racks website, it appears to have very good snow and rain ratings, has a long tread life, is quiet, and have actual reviews by people that seem to like them. All of this for a decent price. I know that you really wanted some first hand experience, but I have done some research and thought I would share.

I have the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4. I am happy with them very low road noise and handle well in the rain and dry pavement. I have not stepped on it off the line since I bought them and no burn outs either as I would like them to last. I have not driven in snow with them so can't tell you much there.
