I am selling my 94 GP and figured I would give her a quick pick me up...the interior was neglected from the previous owners so that was some work to get it looking good...the exterior I just hit with revive polish and wax...I dont think it looks to bad for 225,000 miles....enjoy

and the exterior shots

only 6 hours worth lol...have a sinus infection on top of that so it made it really enjoyable....process went as follows

-cleaned the outside and barrel of the rim with Green Wheel Cleaner
-cleaned the tire and wheel well with All Purpose Cleaner
-strip wash with Adam's All Purpose Cleaner and Car shampoo mix in my foam gun followed by a 2 bucket wash
-sprayed the engine down with All Purpose Cleaner and agitated with a brush and sprayed down
-clayed with Adam's clay bar...if i had to guess its the first time this car has seen one
-started the 3 step polish process which started with Severe Swirl Remover, then Swirl and Haze Remover, and finished with Fine Machine Polish
-wipe down with Waterless Wash
-applied 3 coats of Brilliant glaze
-applied 2 coats of Americana paste wax
-dressed the trim and tires with SVRT
-sprayed wheel wells with Invisible Undercarriage Spray

car came out looking brand new and the paint is 95% fixed minus the scratches from previous owners that are through the paint...on with the pics

got this one finished up today....overall the interior was in pretty good shape minus a few stains...the paint had the typical swirls...biggest PITA was doing the top of the cab and the plastic that was absorbing all my dressing because it was so dried out...came out pretty good i think

Process:
-cleaned door panels, dash, and seats with Leather and Interior cleaner
-shampooed carpets with Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner
-dressed interior with SVRT
-cleaned the rims with Green Wheel Cleaner and the tires and wheel wells with All Purpose Cleaner
-strip wash with All Purpose Cleaner and Car Shampoo
-dried with detail spray and great white drying towel
-clayed entire truck
-2 step polish with Flex 3401 and Swirl and Haze Remover and Fine Machine Polish
-Waterless Wash wipe down
-applied Machine Super Sealant
-polished the rims and exhaust tips with Metal Polish #1 and #2
-dressed tires with SVRT and wheel wells with Invisible Undercarriage Spray
-cleaned windows with Glass Cleaner
-dressed trim with in and out spray
-dressed engine bay with SVRT and In and Out Spray

on with the pictures

Interior after

You do some amazing work. I was a detailed for a dealership for 3 years and I always hated days people would trade in a truck or full size SUV. If you dont mind me asking how does the porter compare to the flex buffer?

PC is going to be a great way to get your feet wet if you havent handled a buffer before....there is 0 chance of burning the paint and it really allows you to concentrate on getting your technique down....it takes some patience though since it can take awhile to get results depending on your paint condition and what your expectations are....the flex has the same dual action but has forced rotation...on the PC if you apply too much pressure the machine will stop spinning the pad which you dont want since it isnt correcting the paint at that point...the flex has forced rotation so no matter how much pressure you use it will spin....the chance of burning through are slim but are still there since the pad will spin no matter how much pressure you use...it has a little learning curve but it didnt take me long to move on and master the flex after the pc...the flex also cuts my polishing time nearly in half...the flex is a little pricey but it is a very well made machine

Thanks man. That was a great explanation. I used the buffer at the shop for most of the 3 years I was there, and borrowed it for my own personal use every once and awhile. I was just curious if the PC would give similar results to the flex. My paints pretty beat up. Looks like its been thru the auto wash a 1000 times, and being black doesn't help it at all. Its something I'd use very rarely, so I didn't know if it be worth the extra cash. The worse thing I've ever buff was the hood of a 2010 black challenger with 6 miles someone decided to take the brush too; best part it was already sold and the owner noticed all the swirl marks.
