The problem with all of this is that when I, a user, see a thread labeled "transmission," I half expect to click it and gain some [more] insight on the 4T65E-HD or provide some help to someone with issues.
This wasn't the case here as I was greeted by someone wanting to purchase one. Irrespective of his or her reasons, I shouldn't have to encounter this. If I wanted to sift through those kind of threads I'd go over to the "Classifieds" section.
Once you start bending the rules for everyone and their mother, the word spreads and this section will start to collapse (people signing up to just buy and/or sell).

Every registered user on LS1tech is now required to have a minimum of 50 posts, or a minimum of 6 months membership duration before they can gain the privilege of posting a NEW THREAD or REPLY in the Classifieds sections, or post FOR SALE ad (or REPLY with selling intent) in any section of the site.

Your debate skills are genuinely terrible. Realize that whining about a wasted 15 seconds makes everyone laugh at you. The site isn't here to cater to your every whim, I suggest you drop it now as its only going to get worse for you. I am fully aware that this is how you get your kicks, but stop. There's absolutely no need for your actions.
I would search first, then join if I found someone or try to post in the classifieds section. If I couldn't post there, I'd search and find out why.
