tranny slippin ok guys i guess its my turn lol. my tranny started slipping today 
. im gonna rebuild it with a buddy of mine, anyone reccomned a good rebuild kit. Ive been looking at triple edge performance, but i am looking for advice, also im thinking about changing the gears while im in there, whats the best set of gears, and what advantages do they offer. i saw 3.29 ad 3.69 not sure which. any advice is greatly appricated.

ROFL! Yeah man good luck! I hope you have some cash saved up for such a rainy occasion! I know I do for when such occasion does arise for me. I have about $1300 right now and need at least 600 more to get the tranny I want from TEP. I would try to flush the fluid and keep changing it until you find a solution. This should help you for a little bit. Also, remember that if you go with a higher gearing there will be some drawbacks. Mainly in gas mileage and you will have to pay to get your TCM re-tuned to handle the new gearing properly. If I were you, I would go with the 3.29's, there are many people on here that seem to be satisfied with the results. If you want to ask someone in here, just ask David GXP or MPeagle or 707 chance how they like their trannies. They all have gone through this mod and have told me that they would do it in a heartbeat. 3.69's are IMO just to steep of a gear to have for a DD, unless you plan on making this a pure 1/4 mile car.
