Default Dyno Tune Michigan Area
Wondering if anybody has suggestions on somewhere around the detroit/windsor area to get a good Dyno tune?

This spring me and a few of my buddys are heading down to Kentucky for a dyno tune were going to make a weekend of it your more then welcome to join if you can wait till then

Checked out Vector's website looks like a nice shop! Only an hour drive from Windsor too so looks like a good choice. Kentucky is a little further than I want to go but thanks for the invite anyways WhiteGXP!

I see they list LS1 tunes at almost $400....that's what i figured it'd be around so that's ok.

I actually have had their dyno tune and can tell you it will be less then that if you make you appt. in the winter. It's only $400. "in season" when their busy. I'm actully going back their in Jan/Feb. to get a bunch of stuff installed and the car re tuned. I was already quoted a price under $600 for DT headers, rockers/pushrods/springs, Don's STB's installed and a re tune. I think thats a decent deal.

Damn that is a good deal, you've already bought the rockers/pushrod's/springs? That's 1 other thing I wanted to look into at the same time.

Ya its a good idea to do everything you want to do at once so only one tune is needed. They have two tunes for our cars, A can tune they is just uploaded into the ECM/TCM that is $400.00 firm i think, but you get what they call free upgrades for each mod, which is just really just slight tweaks of the original fuel map program that came with the original can tune. Or they have what i elected to do go for which is a comply vehicle specific dyno. tune. Like I said the prices will vary slightly based on how busy they are and you have to pay each time you want you car dynoed, but I think its worth it because they can get more out the car this way then in just the caned tune. I put down 270hp/275 torque to the wheels with the dyno tune/CAI/Down pipe/exhaust which for these cars isn't bad.

As far as the spings go I bought them off a member here named davidGXP. He is a really great guy and gave me a fair price. He acutely is thinking about selling his rockers and pushrods too if your interested.

For me though I went with these for the rockers and pushrods.
