exhaust/fuel question hey guys i recently purchased an 08 impala ss a few months back.it didnt come with the owners manual so im not sure what fuel im supposed to run.ive been using reg unleaded and recently filled up with premium and didnt really notice a difference.also what are some good aftermarket mufflers to go with to give this v8 a good rumble ? i dont want anything ridiculously loud or raspy

the manual perfers you use 91 octane or higher. It also says you can still run 87, 89 octane in the car but you could notice some decrease in performance. I personally use the 93 octane in the car b/c i perfer to give the motor what it needs.
As for exhaust, there are tons out there. I have a magnaflow catback system on my car. It is perfect for what you descibed. It is not loud and raspy when on the higway just crusing and you can have a conversation in the car. But once you step on it, the thing roars.
