Code on GXP
Do you have any means of monitoring knock retard while driving? If you do, then I would clear the code and drive it and see if you're getting any KR. I wouldn't drive it hard, though, just in case. If you have the stock tune, then you should be seeing frequent KR in the 3-6 degree range. It varies with temp, fuel quality, and altitude, though. But if you're seeing very little knock retard or none at all (assuming the factory tune is installed), then it's quite possible you have to replace a knock sensor.
For the record, I've never seen a knock sensor fail, but it's worthwhile to troubleshoot the problem, rather than just replace the sensor, which is mounted to the valley cover UNDER the intake manifold.
If you have a predator/trinity, it can log it for you or you can select it and watch it real time...
I think you just got a tank full of swamp water somewhere. Put two little containers of gasline antifreeze and fill it with some good 91 or better and enjoy!
Let us know how it goes.
Also just incase you are unaware.. in Canada the highest octaneis 91 everything above that is achieved over that is done with ethanol, you may have gotten to much, more than 10%
