Gauge overlay install..............but I have a problem!!!!

BUT I think I have a few lights out in the dash. Can anyone tell me how many are suppose to be lit??

Look at the RIGHT side of the speedo, its pretty dim compared to the far left(tach side). I'm sorry this pic kinda sucks, but the gas gauge(far right) is really dim.

Here's a pic of the bulbs without the gauges on. In the center(speedo) theres suppose to be 4 bulbs plus the blue LED, but I have only 1 bulb lit! And now the bulb on the gas side is not working, but in this this pic it is.
- The top left one (1) for your tachometer
- And the three (3) you mentioned above your speedometer
- Two (2) below your fuel and temperature gauge
Find someone who's good at SMT soldering to remove them and pray you can find a direct replacement online. I'd personally replace all twelve (12).
These kind of issues are generally replaced as a whole when processed under warranty at the dealership.
I guess I didn't pay attention to them cause I noticed the middle ones right away.I'm gonna call the dealership in the morning and get a quote.

:b ang:Thats how I feel right now!! I want to enjoy the overlay but can't cause all I think about is the damn bulbs being out.

So since you have the lens from your current one, you should be okay.
What I would do is contact Ed and make sure all the LEDs are lit.

I think I'm gonna send my cluster off to someone to put in some LED's, it'll run me around the same price as that cluster. Thankfully my Impala is not my DD anymore so I can be without it for a while.
I used to be under the assumption that these things needed to be calibrated/programmed, but someone recently proved me wrong.
This individual installed a GXP cluster (160 max) into his Canadian (speedometer up to 220) Grand Prix GT (3800 supercharged).
It was plug and play and everything lined up as it should.

This is good to know!
