Our very own segment in the forum starts off by stating "Front-Drives", Couldn't just leave it as LS4?!

But the main thing is they still recognize that we are apart of the ls family so we dont have a cool intro thats like saying you care about what other people think about the person you love the most I would hope you dont i had a gto when they werent cool people called it a grand am colbalt but it also made 430 wheel ohh and lets not for get it was the lite blue so what we are all here because we like or love our ls4 cars

Probably because all the technical forums on the site like "Gen XXX Internal Engine" apply to the Vortec motors just as they do the car engines.

If you want to talk truck-specific stuff, there are some really good forums like chevrolettrucks.com.
