Center Consol How does the center consol come out? ive got the 2 10mm bolts on the side's and the 4 t10(i think) bolts in the armrest storage botttom but its still stuck on something at the back, can anyone give me some insight? thanks
Four 10 mm bolts on the sides and that's it. Two up front and two towards the rear.
Go under the console towards the front (behind/under the radio) and unclip the connectors. From there, you'll want to lift.
The console is kept in place by a clip that pops into the shifter and two more under the armrest. Just push/pull straight up. Beware because you can break some plastic:
Clips stuck under the armrest:
Those two clips should be attached to the console plastic.
Center console clips into the shifter as well. Broken due to pulling towards the rear and not lifting:
Glued with super glue (ineffective). I used J-B weld to fix it later on:
What the car looks like with no console:
Test fitting to see if the driver seat track will fit in the passenger seat area (it does):
