Default intake spacer

maybe i have not thought this through all the way but cant you just have a set of intake manifold spacers machined up to prevent modding the vlom on the gxp

You do need to think this through a bit more.

Think about what happens if you raise the intake up far enough to clear the OPSU - we're talking about a couple of inches here since the OPSU extends to the top of the intake neck.

First, you are effectively lengthening the intake runner by a couple of inches, which is going to kill the top end.

There will be a discontinuity in the intake runner shape, which means additional turbulence and resistence to flow, which may have negative impacts right across the rev range.

Hood clearance issues?

Well I'm thinking about a victor jr efi and cutting down the runners I'm goin to put I'n a email to Edelbrock and see what the results would be and if the air volume I'n the intake would be sufficient and if it would destroy the power band if not I'm going to have a custom made aluminum intake
