ok so this summer ill be re-doing my engine bay paint scheme after i get a few details under my belt and wanted some other peoples input (ignore the arrows)

here is what it looks like now



here is what i am thinking of doing....i havent decided on if i want to do all of the bars (diagonal, stb, and engine mount)....its either going to be the fuse box, valve cover, and air box with airbrushing and the bars stay midnight blue or the fuse box, valve cover, bars, and air box all airbrushed with midnight blue...what do you guys think?

 

looks awsome, but i think the colours are off. maby match the blue more to your car's paint

 

the paint will be matched by paint code to my car...just a quick photoshop to get the general idea

 

I think the flames are a little much, but don't look bad. I'd color match the valve covers and be done with it.

 

That fuse box is gonna get beat to hell when it's battery time.

 

im on my 2nd one as of now lol...the cover is never on unless its at a show and it doesnt see any weather other then sun and 70+ since it isnt my DD anymore...i havent been lucky enough to have to do the battery swap myself since the first one was replaced under warranty so im looking forward to it

 

looks good but I would leave the cross bars red to break it up a bit with the blue

 

Changing the battery in these cars are a bitch and a 2 man job! I had to do it last month and I gave up and took it to autozone and had them install it for free, I still had to help the guy with it though.... But as far as the looks for what you are going, I am for it! I just think like someone else said is to try and match the paint closer to the color of your car. I think it would look GREAT if you did that....

 

Took me about 45 minutes but I'll be the first to tell you I'm a super slow worker mechanically and often make things worse by trying to make things work the way *I* think they should.

i think the blue flames looks sweet but if it were me i would replace the red with silver and do the flames

Flamed. Since, the strunt tower brace would be too. I'm also thinking.. that some blue hose neting, for the heater hoses would be nice too!
