Nothing against your TB but I have never been a fan of them, even in the SS trim. I have always has a thing for Grand Cherokee SRT8's. That's just me though.

just keep drinkin your hateorade, i looked at the srt-8 the jeep and the charger, all way out of my price range, i like the trailblazer ss, always have huge aftermarket support, good soild suv, my fiances trailblazer had one problem in the 3 yrs she owned hers

while my gxp had problem since day one, so i can go to summit racing and or jeggs and order parts for the ls2 with out a problem and so far its quiet, runs strong, no noise no vibrations i have room to drive comfortably and room to haul stuff now

i like it you dont have to and thats fine

I never said I did not like them.... Just stating a fact.....I do like the TBSS, it just that I have to wait for about 2 more years before I can trade in the Monte and get something that suits my lifestyle better like a TBSS or a Cherokee SRT8....

I considered the jeeps, but the prices were higher, and there's no point in having a suv that has horrible passenger leg room and no towing capabilities. They're badass, but wasn't a fit for me personally.

I wasn't trying to sound like an *** or anything. I was just stating my opinion. Don't get me wrong I would drive the s**t out of the TBSS if I had one but if I were looking around for that class of vehicle a GC would suit me better. Although, each person has different needs. I do not have kids or anything to tow in my near future so, it would be alright for me.

While I do like the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 better, the Trailblazer SS would be better suited for my family. But since I will probably never own either I guess my Expedition will have to suffice for another 3-4 years. It's slow and drinks gas like a dragster, but it's comfortable and safe for the family, no to mention paid for. My next SUV will likely be the VW Touareg TDi, has form function and exceptional economy with much torque to boot.

Good luck with your TBSS, hope it's less troublesome than the GXP was.

Hey whats up @bdyman? I was browsing through the forums trying to find someone to fix my rocker panels on my 2006 Monte Carlo SS...They are fairly decent but are eye sores to me. The left and right panels have moderate curb rash and the front panel has been butchered! I looked into replacing them all together but I refuse to put two grand into body moulding alone! I see you are in the Chicago area and I live in Milwaukee... If you think you can help me please email me at jaydeehayes@gmail.com... Thanks man.
