Default GP GXP Braking Issue

Have anyone experienced any squealing/tire rubbing from the rear when braking hard? First time I've ever heard it. Thanks for any inputs.

pads might be getting low and the squeeler could be touching the rotor now.

Changed the pads like a month ago. It sounds more like the tire rubbing up against the fender well but can't prove it just yet. Just want to know what can possibly cause that.

Do you still have drilled rotors on the car?

Do you only hear the sound when applying a certain amount of pressure, is it from low speed or high speed or both?

Is your trailing arm bushing completely destroyed?

Do you see any contact patches or lines either on the fender well or on the tire?

I have a - what seems to be minor - braking problem, too.. When I brake hard, maybe 65%, I get a scraping noise on the left side, and it continues scrape for a bit of every rotation afterwards and goes away after a few blocks of normal driving/braking.. Also, when I do some slightly tight turns I get a higher pitched scraping noise, too.. I just got a front brake service about a month ago.. Any suggestions? Oh, and there's about a 1/8" of give on the dirver side tire when it's jacked up..

Did you just replace the pads and not turn/replace the rotors?

Yeah the drilled rotors are still on there. I know the sound you're talking about when applying little or moderate amounts of PSI, but that's not it. I will be checking the T/A bushings tomorrow though. As of right now can't see anything physically wrong with the tire but i'll defiently let you guys know once it's off the ground. Can't work on Sunday that's why i said tomorrow LOL

Exact same thing. Coming from the left rear when braking hard with the pedal at least 70% down. My noise go away as soon as i come off of the brakes though. Don't hear anything in either direction while turning hard.

Just replaced the pads and didn't turn the rotors. Factory size tires are still on there.
