I just signed in for the first time tonight and have had this question prying at me for a while of looking through the site. I see a bunch of posts that say too never flush one of these transmissions. I have an 08 Impala SS which I love, fyi. I flushed mine and havent noticed anything but some chattering when almost stopped upon slowing down, but it did that before.
Why is it bad for them to flush?
What I have been wondering if people have been flushing the tranny in an effort to make an issue go away, and then when it blows up they blame the flush.

I'm not worried about your spelling.
Your initial post made it seem like you read about it but decided to flush it anyway.
I'm not sure about the details, but it's been pretty much agreed upon that you don't flush a 4T6x.

i got my car at 60k i flushed as soon as i got it, it looked like it hadn't been serviced... once flushed even a moderate throttle it would chatter into second. like steering wheel bouncing type chatter for at least 2-3k miles. id prob never flush again unless i bought it new and did it every 20-30k. my trans is livin off Lucas now
