turning DOD off I use my hp tuner to tune my gto but want to turn off DOD for the 2005 GXP.
The reason I want to turn it off is oil consumption. I've owned the car from day 1 and it has always had mobil 1 changes/filters. I've noticed by the time the car is down to 35% now it has used about a quart sometimes a little more. The daughter drives the car very easily now. Maybe the transmission will last longer this time after the rebuild at 80k. Car has 105k now.
Question is:
Is it truly as easy
Fuel control-COT-Diplacement under demand-change from enable to disable?
