Default Shift kit question

I ordered a trans-go s/k today for my GXP. Dave said I would need a gasket plate that goes in the accumulator. Its $9.95 which is no big deal. Has anyone else had to do this? I guess its probably a good idea to change the filter too correct? Any feedback would be appreciated

change the filter for sure but I don't think I had to buy anything else for a gasket.

that gasket is a metal plate and you do not HAVE to change it...

Read the sticky in here. It is very detailed and step by step. Yes you should change the filter. Make sure you buy the correct tranny fluid. Otherwise, you will have major problems.

What he said you don't HAVE to change it unless its all messed up. I reused mine with no issues.
