Default Headlights
So ive decided im going to take Halogen technology as far as i can heres a list of my plans

100W HIR 5500 Kelvin in the His , Los and Fogs
15v Capacitor
Relays With the His, Los and Fogs all tied into my Hibeam.
Disable DRL.

100W HIR's at 15V Probably wont last too long...
Probably 200-250 hours or so at a guess..

Thoughts?

I thought about getting HIRs, but didn't feel like having anything down. So I just went the HID route.

A) i dont want to mess with my beam pattern as thats dangerous and other drivers really appreciate it

B) warm up times on the higbeams.

A) My lights are aimed down a little, nice beam, and my brights are still halogen and look great. May replace the 3000 fogs with 4500, though.

B) Very good point.

Let us know how everything works out, may make the switch back.

I didn't know there were more than one brand of HIRs now.

Currently looking for a 15v dc capacitor.

Neither did I.
Theres the Phillips , and then i believe a GE.
And theres autoluminations house brand (3 different Kelvin ratings)

Right near the top

Stick with philips or GE's. I believe the one's autolumination sells are not legit HIR bulbs. I recall somone on club gp ordering a set and sent them back.
