Default stability system and tcs warning after battery change

Battery died from not driving the car, so i replaced with an optima (PITA!!!). Starts ok, but i'm getting TCS and stability system warnings.

Shouldn't be anything wrong mechanically, and i checked fuses, but couldn't find any prob there.

Anybody have a clue as to what's going on?

Check wheel sensors. If it sat for a while, maybe a mouse chewed on some wires.

garaged in a fox friendly zone, so doubtful, but i'll check it out.

from what i can tell the tsc/stability seems to be primarily related to braking sytems. anything else? throttle control?

Are the battery leads clean and making good contact? Are the cables tight on the starter and ground ends? These messages can show up if you don't have good connections to the battery.

yeah, pretty clean. it only has 4000 miles on it, so not a lot of grime.

at this point i'm wondering if the lights will go out after i drive it for a while.
maybe the batt's a little low or the electrical system has some capacitors that need to charge or some dumb thing like that.
