Regulator broke off somehow I am clueless as to how it happened.

But im being told that I can only find it at the dealer since our cars wont be in a junkyard and the dealer only sales it as a combo for 283 with new motor

Is this my only option!?!!

i had this happen on my 2008 ss impala.. it was right side rear window , really don't know what happened ? gm took care of no charge /still under warranty.. the mr. goodwrench guy who installed said it does happen ,a lot.? they had to order it in . a week later he installed new one ,took almost a hour/ the bill was almost 300 bucks.! i think may have to order from gm, are you handy/ to install it ? even if your found one in junk yard ? they would only sell the whole door/ right ? good luck ,let us know how you make out . rkvette

Thanks I had no choice so I had to cough up the 300 after tax
