Tinted headlights look good and all but I have a pair and light output is abysmal with my HIDs. How's yours?

Looks good! I'm a huge fan of the "murdered" look.

the light output is bad right now because they still havent been final wetsanded with 2000 grit, swirl removered, and waxed ... i ran out of time at work this weekend ... and dont want to be doing at home because frankly ... its my free time and id rather get paid ...

and as far as the up close pictures of the headlight and wheels ... yes i will for sure get you those pictures, but the headlights will have to wait until im done sanding them, because frankly they look horrid right now ... for the meantime is this close enough for the wheels ???

to answer what im sure is your interest ... yes there are imperfections apparent in them, the plastidip has a very weird spraying and drying pattern, and it almost works best if you spray alot, rather than a little ... but ill get the pictures for you sometime this week ... promise

haha thanks .. truth is, i love the 07's with silver accent ... and would trade in an instant for an all white with silver accent ...

as far as that chrome trim ring goes, i sanded it on a belt sander until all of the fake chrome plastic **** was gone, then used krylon for plastic ...

and the headlights ... will more than likely be replaced with the depot ones you guys have ... they are only 160-180 on ebay now ...

Yeah I noticed that the plastidip sprayed and dried weird too. I'm gonna have to go back over my rims when I get some time.

i found that for the final coat youre doing, its almost best to get it so thick that the whole thing is "wet" looking and filled in ... then get a fan on it for dry it evenly ... maybe even having something vibrating the rim while its drying would get it to settle flat ...

but all that is fairly excessive when the **** is only 5-10 bucks a can, just rip it off that rim, and try again if youre that obsessive ...

but then again, being obsessive with a product never intended to be doing this would be like trying to **** your name in the snow and being upset about the font you "wrote" it in and drinking more to do it again ... an equivalent of artistically pissing in the wind
