Damn Wire harnesses!!!

I don't know about you guys but my harnesses looked cooked:

and I use the 12v 55w bulbs. but I'm using these:

But I found out that you can purchase them from Autozone as well.
Now question: will electric tape do fine for the spliced wires? Any harm in that? Please let me know something guys! Thanks,.....

Cut/crimp and then wrap with electrical tape. Those 55w bulbs might be a 75w, you cant tell with some of the cheaper ones.

thanks! I was just making sure I did it right and if the electric tape would suffice!! I am more confident with these aftermarket
