Tranny Problem The past 2 days I've picked up my little brother from school and there's a very steep hill with a 30mph speed limit that I go up on my way home. After I'm up the hill my car refuses to shift into 4th for the majority of the ride home but about 15-20 mins it shifted into 4th. I tried putting it in "manual" mode and it wouldn't let me shift into 4th it just gave off the beeping sound. What should I do to prevent this from happening again?

My car jumped out of DOD mode on the highway today doin like 71, wouldnt go back in, then it had trouble shifting to fourth, drove at 58mph for a few mins and it finally dropped into 4th, no rough shifts or anything shifted smooth like always, but its the second time its done that
