removing baffles from exhaust tips
the baffles in the tips are resonators. replacing the tips will add drone. i dont think the oulet in the mufflers will allow bigger better flowing tips. the outlet is a kink. you'd be better off replacing the mufflers and tips and keeping the factory resonator that is after the cat.
Did the catless downpipe this weekend. I like it but I'm not to sure the wife unit likes the aded drone. I'm gonna give it a couple weeks and see if it grows on her otherwise I'll have to swap in a catted and try something else.

Drone.. Lol.. I've learned to love it.. A 3" catless straight downpipe with an open dump is all the drone anyone can handle, lol..
I really dont mind it, and with an E-Cutout, it's as easy as a flip of a switch to quiet her down

On the camaro we call it "lope" and I can probably count on one hand the number times I've actually closed the cutout.In that one we run loud and proud baby!!
