Not sure if this is normal or a typical problem

Hey guys i run my car at the track and when at a high rpms shifting into 2nd it has a delay like the car is tacked up to high and wont shift because the rpm is to high now this happens extreamly quick its not like it doesnt want to shift or anything it just feels weird i guess. is this normal? its still under warranty and only has 46k miles on it. 06 mc ss. when iit does this its shifting at 5900 to 6k

yea my stock one did that, it was doing a rev and clunk here and there but not very hard then 2 days after the drag strip BOOM
