Hey guys, Im new to this site, and new to my 07 GP GXP. Just picked it up last week with 22K on it! Its all stock and completely clean!

Poking around the engine bay after I got it from the dealer to make sure they didnt fumble something up before my warranty runs out, I noticed on the intake after the MAF and before it actually goes into the intake plenum I have and empty hose nipple for something!! I don't see anything hanging around that looks disconected. The end is open, not plugged. I cant tell if it's sucking in air when running. If it is, its not enough for alot of pressure anyways.

Does any of you have this on you GP GXP's or LS4 motors? What is this for? Should it be plugged?? (In the pic it's shown by the red arrow. Sorry if it's hard to see!)

on my impala between the throttle body & mass airflow sensor was the crank case breather tube (i think thats what its called)...

 

Its blocked off, no need to worry

 

its sealed, my turbo kit uses that as a source of vaccuum so mines not sealed anymore lol
