I'm keeping mine! Was thinking about ditching it a couple of years ago, but I really like my Impala. Plan on doing the LS6 intake soon, then maybe a cam.

I'm not giving mine up. I'm in it forever. I plan to upgrade tranny soon. My next project will be to put an LS engine in my '67 Tempest.

I plan to stay with mine at least until 100k, depending on if it needs a trans by then, ive got almost 51K on it now, few hiccups but nothing major, just gotta get the diablew tune package next, did my LF wheel bearing and trans filter this weekend, already have a trans cooler, best investment so far my trans hasnt seen over 190 and its been 96 degrees plus

If it needs a trans before 100k Im gonna keep it until that trans goes

I'm definitely in it for the long haul! No plans to get rid of her anytime soon. After a couple more years I'll hopefully be the proud owner of a nice low mileage stock G8 GT.

But I will continue to love the **** out of my Monte and it will be a sad day when it's no longer mine.

In all honesty, if someone was crazy enough to give me what I owe on it after what I've done to it they can have it, 600 in my pocket a month (note and insurance, got raped on interest, but I HAD to have it... )

Note is 405, insurance is 185.

Car was 18900, got GAP, extended warranty, and something else I think... Ended up 405 for 72 months. :sigh: Yeah... Still less than new after everything though, that's a plus I guess.

Call up Travelers insurance. I just switched from Geico to them and got more insurance for less money

I've got Allstate, and my house is insured through them, as well. We have, how do I put this, higher coverage? than normal. People around here don't like to have insurance, the same people cause more wrecks than anyone I know of, we like to have our bases covered.

$185 for insurance...ouch! Bad driving record? I pay $820 for the whole year with full coverage through Allstate. If you have Geico, shop around and you will find a better price because Geico likes to bend their customers over without them knowing it lol.

Edit: Nevermind, you have Allstate already...Durrr

I paided the same but paid for GAP out of pocket paying 385 month
Was 167 month two cars two drivers/ only the GXP full coverage
Now 142 month with Travelers. but i did add Renters with them

And AllState wanted $300+ a month for the same insurance level as geico to cover my car.

I have an at-fault wreck that wasn't technically my fault, but it was by default. I was backing onto a street and a guy ran a stop sign, turning at an intersection, and hit me. But because I was in reverse, it was automatically my fault.

And we save more than 15% switch FROM Geico.

I, also, didn't put a down payment on my car.

Wow...Monthly payment on mine is $325 and I put a grand down.

Insurance is through Farmers and we pay $177 a month for full coverage for three cars...The SS, the GN, and the VUE.
