You can make new cables cheaper. Just look for sgx cable 4 awg should be about the size of factory ones. I found some marine battery supply place on ebay that was cheap. You can buy solder slugs, lugs, flux, heat shrink, etc from them. I'm sure the factory one is over 100 bucks.

Could do a "big 3" upgrade too if you were bored. It involves adding more ground and positive cables. Usually it's a fused positive from the alternator to the battery, a ground from the battery to the frame, and a positive from the battery to the starter. Sometimes people do 0 awg cables, but that is probably a little excessive. 4 or 2 awg should be plenty.

Just a heads up when I put my Red Top in and installed the factory battery hold down I
notice that I could fairly easily pull the battery out of its mounting. While the battery is
pretty well trapped under the diagonal brace and core support (my car 2007 GXP) it
still seems unsafe in a potential accident situation or even to have it fall into the engine
under some hard a$$ cornering. With the shape of the Optima all I had to do was add
a piece of .25 inch flat stock to the back side of my battery bar, doing this provided a nice flat edge to engage and hold the battery. Just putting this out there incase any one else wants to check their battery. And I love my Optimas!!! I have them in several vehicles now.

it did take a couple mins to get it to slide under the rear lip of the battery tray but mine is very secure with the stock mounting bracket. the main reason i did not go with the MT-85 from interstate is that i wanted more power, after all it is a V8 and the V6 has a bigger battery.
