why would you first off?

 

if you bumped the compression up to 11 to 1 on the ls4 with a ls1/6 intake and exhaust you would run faster, let alone what would happen if you put a cam in there you would be above 400hp you would be **** stomping most of whats out there and it would be a LOT less $$$$ in the project, im working on doing something similar

 

Shorten the crankshaft on both ends, use a .200" adapter plate for the metric pattern, and swap over the LS4 accessory drive and the DT headers... not too difficult or terribly expensive in my book.
