Bank 1 sensor 1 So, I know this is not the best place for this question, but google is not giving me any help.
My GF's room mates 03 impala needs the O2 sensor replaced at "bank 1 sensor 1"
I plan of running over to her apartment on Sunday to knock this out.
What side of the engine is bank 1 for the chevy v6?

the engine banks don't matter for that v6... I'm sure it only has one exhaust pipe coming out of it... like our v8 monte's...
yes, there are two engine banks.. but only 1 exhaust bank, because the manifolds come together into 1 single downpipe, then you have a single exhaust pipe... therefore, you only have a bank 1 sensor 1 and a bank 1 sensor 2...
there is no bank 2 exhaust...
sensor 1 is the O2 before the cat. converter... sensor 2 is the o2 sensor after the cat. converter...
