trans fluid temp???????
Ok so i got to looking at my trans temp and it stays around 160ish to 190ish...
and i was told that if i do anything to my car (upgrade wise) that i need a trans cooler...if im rasing hell in it, using my "taps" to shift up and down i can get it up to 207. im not much on transmissions so i dont know what the limit is and what it should stay around.... and i just got my CAI thanks to steveman0018 so..... its safe right???

not sure about Dextron IV temperature degradation, but i do know my fluid is burnt, now that it's at the garage for another tranny...
i could understand my temps running that high in City driving during the summers, not highway driving @ 70mph(which is 95% of my driving)...

With a Hayden cooler I see anywhere from 150-203 degrees, the only way it goes over 200 is if I am pounding on it from stoplight to stoplight a bunch, or if I am climbing a huge hill in low gear. The highest I have seen since the Hayden upgrade is 203, before that I would hit 212 in normal driving. I would say the cooler gives a 20-30 degree difference.
